Dear Unwanted Advice Columnist-
I’m thinking of switching up my skincare routine, but I’m overwhelmed by all the products out there. Should I go for a 10-step regimen, or is a simple routine better?
Sincerely,
Skincare Confused
Dear Skincare Confused –
Ah, yes. The age-old skincare dilemma. Well, here’s some advice no one asked for: Forget the 10-step regimen. It’s overrated. Just use soap and water—simple, classic, and effective. Who needs serums, toners, and essences? They’re just marketing tricks designed to sell you more bottles. If you really want to cut through the noise, just try coconut oil. It’s fine. I mean, what’s the worst that could happen? Your skin might break out a little—but it could also look glowing! Go ahead, embrace the natural approach. Or, you could just give up entirely and let your skin do its thing. We’re all just dust anyway.
Good luck,
